We’re Christopher W. Légaré and Antoine Bruneau. We met at school and became friends on day one. Years later, during the pandemic, we launched and ran a dock branch together in Gatineau. Installation after installation, season after season, that is where the urge to go further came from.
There’s a whole world around a dock: boat and jet ski lifts, maintenance to do every spring, gear to enjoy the water. We wanted to bring it all together in one place, chosen with care and installed properly.
We built Zone H2O around that: a trade crew, a range of products chosen to last, and service that stays around once the sale is done. Our ambition today is clear: to become the specialty store and the reference for the waterfront.
It’s what gets us up in the morning. You chose a waterfront to enjoy it, not to manage headaches. Our job is to make those headaches disappear: the right product delivered to you, the installation done right, the maintenance taken care of when the season calls for it.
You keep the fun. We keep the rest.
Plenty of outfits stop at the sale or at the installation. Ours keeps going after. We stay responsible for what we sell and for what we install.
Our installations are done by tradespeople, with the right equipment and liability insurance. For you, that’s the quiet confidence that it was done right, from the first bolt to the following spring.
We took a space in Gatineau where boat lifts, a catamaran and an inflatable dock are on display. You can come see the products for real, ask your questions, and leave with a decision rather than a guess.
We’re not looking for the cheapest option. We select premium products built to hold up season after season, because gear that lasts costs less than gear you have to replace.
Our projects cover lakes, rivers, reservoirs and open water. Our installation crews have around 20 years of combined experience, and they’re fully mobilized through the short boating season so every installation is ready at the right moment. You won’t see that experience on a spec sheet. You see it in work that holds.
We’re from here and we know these waters. Serving local waterfront owners, in both languages of Gatineau-Ottawa, isn’t a box we tick. It’s where we belong.
The waterfront is meant to be fun, and you can feel that in the way we work with you. We like what we do, and we like doing it with our customers.
We would rather do things properly than quickly and badly. That is why we insure our installations and why we stay reachable once the work is done.
When the Ottawa River flooded in Gatineau, we drove out to our customers’ installations and checked every one of them, no charge, to make sure they were holding. Looking after a customer doesn’t stop at the sale.
Our inflatable dock arrived in three days and it holds two teenagers diving off it without flinching. Exactly what we were looking for.
They assessed our shoreline, recommended the right dock and installed everything in a single day. Zero stress, start to finish.
